Hi everyone. I am currently trying to submit my online application for a business visa to France, but I am hitting a wall. Every time I click the final ‘Validate’ button, the page refreshes and displays a red banner saying: “No input provided; unable to process questions.”
I have triple-checked that every field is filled. I’ve observed the detail in every section, and nothing seems missing. Is this a known server issue with the TLS/VFS system today? I need to document this for my employer, but the system is giving me nothing. Any guidance would be appreciated.
Logic check. That error usually pops up when the session token expires in the background while you’re typing. The server receives ‘null’ data because the secure link dropped. Pushing to prod advice: Clear your cache, open Incognito mode, and fill it out fast without pausing. Optimized code would auto-save, but these portals rarely have that.
The red banner usually isn’t about missing fields, but a backend validation glitch.
A few things that worked / were flagged by others:
Hidden required fields that look filled but aren’t actually validated
Special characters (/, -, extra spaces) in phone numbers, addresses, or employer names
Browser issues — switching to Chrome/Firefox incognito and clearing cache helped
Saving, logging out, then logging back in before clicking Validate
I didn’t see any official outage notice, but this error pops up pretty often with France-Visas/TLS. When it happened to me, it resolved later the same day.
For documentation, I’d recommend:
Screenshot the error + timestamp
Note the application reference number
Email TLS/VFS support to show you attempted submission
Annoying system, not user error. You’re not alone.
