Processing timeline for Ireland visa applications submitted in early December

Greetings all. I am writing to inquire if anyone else is experiencing delays with the current batch of applications. I submitted my paperwork on December 9th. Has anyone who applied to Ireland on Dec 8 and Dec 9 got their decisions yet? I am trying to coordinate with community members for my upcoming travel and would appreciate knowing if approvals have started rolling out. Thank you kindly.

Under normal circumstances, the Ireland Embassy usually takes around 3 to 4 weeks to process visa applications. So if you submitted on December 9, it is still within the standard processing timeline, and delays at this stage are considered normal. Decisions are typically released in batches, so approvals may start coming anytime within this period.

Greetings. While I understand the anxiety, it is important to look closer at the calendar. Ireland is not part of the Schengen zone, so their processing system is separate and often slower during the holidays. History lives here, and so does bureaucracy. I have a client who applied on Dec 5 and is still waiting. Patience is the only strategy right now.
