Hi everyone, pushing to prod on my move to Europe. I have been tracking the recent changes to the Portugal Job Seeker Visa, specifically regarding the “highly qualified professionals” criteria.
I know the “Manifestation of Interest” is gone (logic check: good riddance to the backlog?), but I am confused about the new entry constraints.
Does anyone know if the financial proof requirements have been optimized or increased? Also, strictly speaking, does a Junior Dev role count under the new classification, or do I need a specific salary threshold pre-contract to be considered “high-value”?
