Hi everyone, I just got my Schengen visa refused I had applied through the German Embassy in Singapore. I already have my flight tickets booked, and my travel date is at the end of November. Can I reapply right away, or do I need to wait before submitting a new application?

Hey, just to share my experience - I got refused too, and then tried to apply through another country. Unfortunately, it didn’t work because I didn’t stay long enough in that country to meet the “main destination” rule. So if you want to switch countries, make sure your travel plan matches where you’ll spend the most time

Based on my experience handling similar cases, you can reapply immediately after a refusal — there’s no mandatory waiting period for Schengen applications, including those lodged through the German Embassy in Singapore.

Just a few important points before you submit again:

   Every point listed in the refusal letter needs to be addressed with stronger or clearer documents in your new application.

2. Fix the weaknesses from the first submission.

3. Keep all information consistent.

For Schengen (including Germany), there’s no official “waiting period” after a refusal. You can reapply right away.
