Just wanted to share a successful push to production—my Japan visa application at the Mumbai Consulate.
Application Timeline Experience:
Submitted on Jan 12 and collected on Jan 20. Total turnaround was about 8 days.
Required Documents List:
I submitted the standard stack: filled application form, photo, cover letter, day-wise itinerary, ITR, updated bank statements, confirmed hotel bookings, flight schedule, and a leave letter from my company.
Submission Process Details:
I arrived at 8:45 AM. Logic check: the security lets you in at 9:00 AM. They issued a token, stamped my documents, and the whole function call took about 15-20 minutes. No cash payment was required at submission.
Collection Day Process:
Arrived at 8:45 AM again. Paid the visa fees purely in cash and received the passport with the 5-Year Multiple Entry sticker.
Optimized process with zero bugs. Let me know if you need to debug your own application steps!
