Feedback Needed: Improving AI Tools for Schengen Visas for Students from Africa, LatAm, and Asia

Hey folks in the Schengen visa community! :waving_hand: I’m working on an AI-powered platform specifically designed to guide international students from Africa, Latin America, and Asia through the Schengen visa process. The goal is to personalize advice, cut down on application mistakes, and up the success rates. But I want to make it even better—what features or improvements do you think are missing? Have you used similar tools? Any pain points from your own visa experiences that an AI could fix? Would love your thoughts!

As someone from Nigeria who just got my Schengen visa, I think personalized document checklists based on your country of origin would help a ton. AI could flag common rejection reasons for African applicants, like proof of funds. Also, maybe integrate video tutorials in multiple languages?

Sounds like a cool project! One big thing missing in most visa tools is real-time updates on embassy wait times and policy changes. An AI that scans official sites and alerts users would be huge, especially for students from regions where info is hard to get. What data sources are you planning to use?

From Asia here (Indonesia). Missing:predictive success rate calculator based on your profile. Input your docs, background, and it gives odds + tips to improve. Also, community forums within the app for peer advice. That’d reduce anxiety big time! :+1:

Love this! One improvement:Better handling of appeals. If visa denied, AI guides on reapplication with tailored letters. For us in LatAm, economic instability makes finances tricky—AI could suggest creative proofs like scholarships.

Great idea! For Latin American students, integration with local education verification services would be key to avoid fakes. And how about chat support with AI that understands cultural nuances in interviews? Rejections often happen due to miscommunications.
