My husband and I are planning a trip to Sharm El Sheikh next month. He is a British citizen, and I hold a Nigerian passport with a valid multi-entry Schengen visa. We’ve heard conflicting information regarding the ‘Sinai Only’ visa exemption. Can I travel visa-free or obtain a visa on arrival at the airport, or do I need to secure one from the consulate beforehand? We are worried about boarding issues.
Has anyone from Lagos or London actually used this Schengen exemption for Sharm specifically in the last 3 months?
I am currently preparing my documentation for a similar trip and am quite concerned by the events described above. I have no intent to violate immigration rules, but the distinction between the visa validity and the duration of stay is confusing me.
