Hi everyone, I’m an Indian passport holder on a UK graduate visa right now after finishing my master’s there. Back in the day, I studied in the US on an F1 student visa, and it’s still valid in my passport, but I don’t have my I-20 form anymore since I wrapped up those studies a while back. I’m super excited about a trip to Mexico next month – beautiful beaches and all! But I’m stressing about whether I can enter Mexico visa-free using my US F1 visa. Does anyone have experience doing this, especially as an Indian national? Any tips or stories from similar situations? Thanks a bunch! ![]()

Mexico does allow visa-free entry for many nationals (including Indians) if you hold a valid US visa (any category - F1, B1/B2, etc.), as long as it’s still valid and multiple-entry.

For Mexico immigration, they don’t care about your I-20 - that’s only relevant for entering/studying in the US, not for Mexico. At the border they just see:
-Valid Indian passport
-Valid US visa sticker
Hey folks, just following up – anyone out there who’s navigated this? Would love some advice before I book my flights! ![]()
